Mexican Riviera Cruise!

After graduation, Justin and I went on our very first cruise! It was amazing. We got a whole week to ourselves thanks to our families watching Jackson. Thanks so much to everyone that helped! And a special thanks to Aunt Stacey for driving us to port and picking us up. We are so spoiled. Our first stop on our cruise was Cabo San Lucas. This was my favorite port because of how beautiful the arch formation was at the end of the peninsula.

The first day in Cabo, we went on a boat tour that sailed around the Land's End Peninsula and then the tour took us to a beach where we could swim. I had a blast, but Justin didn't appreciate the water being so clear that he could see the fish swimming between his legs.

On the second day in Cabo, we hired a water taxi to take us to Lover's Beach which is by the arch.
Stay tuned for Puerto Vallarta, us almost dying on a jeep ride and Disneyland!!!

10 years in the making!

I did it! After 10 years of dreaming of becoming a nurse, I finally graduated nursing school! It's been 10 years since I received my CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) in 2001 at the age of 17. It's weird to think back and realize how far I've come. I've been very blessed in my life to have so many family members and friends who have supported me and encouraged me to keep going. Justin has been my biggest strength. He has cheered me on, listened to me cry (and sometimes scream), and never let me give up. Thanks you, Justin for believing in me! And also a special thanks to Jackson for being such a good boy and letting mommy study for all those long hours!

Now on to the next obstacle--passing the NCLEX which is the Nursing Licensing Exam. Here's some pics.

Getting my "diploma" from Claudia. Claudia was the head of the testing center. She was a big part of my nursing school experience. Every test day she was there for us.

This is the only picture I got of just me and Justin. That's the downside of having a husband who is a photographer, no one else knows how to work his camera. All the shots turned out blurry except this kissing one. :)

Me and my Dad! Besides Justin, he is my biggest supporter. Thanks Dad for always being there for me and seeing my potential. I love you!!!

My Martha Stewart Moment

My sweet sister-in-law Amy got married last week and this is a recap of the Bridal Shower we threw for her in March. I had so much fun creating a dessert table! I hope next time I'll be able to host the event in my own house, instead of the ward building. But it turned out so cute! Big thanks to Michelle and Sharlene for hosting it with me.
